Mile:
0.0: Start near the restrooms across from the Pueblo Group Picnic Area. Begin hiking uphill (to the left) on Mine Trail, a Bay Area Ridge Trail segment.
0.2: Mine Trail ends at a junction. Turn right on Hidden Spring Trail.
0.4: Junction. Continue straight, uphill on Hidden Springs Trail.
0.7: Junction. Stay to the right, now on Coyote Peak Trail.
1.1: Junction. Take the trail uphill to the peak.
1.2: Hilltop. Retrace your steps back to the previous junction.
1.3: Head downhill to the west on the Coyote Peak Trail.
1.7: Unsigned junction just before a little building at the top of a hill. Turn right onto a Rocky Ridge Trail, a narrow path.
3.2: Just past a bridge, Rocky Ridge Trail meets a path feeding in from the right. Continue to the left.
3.4: Junction. Turn right on Mine Trail.
3.7: Near a parking lot, stay to the right and walk through the corral, continuing on Mine Trail.
3.8: Back at the parking lot.

Getting there:
From Interstate 280 in Santa Clara County, exit #12B CA 85. Drive south on 85 and exit #1B Bernal Road/Highway 101. Drive west on Bernal Road, past Santa Teresa Boulevard, into the park. Continue uphill, and turn left, following the signs for the picnic area (if you start seeing ominous signs for IBM, you've gone too far). Park near the Pueblo Group Picnic Area, if possible.
