Mile:
0.0: Begin at the edge of the parking lot on a wide paved road.
0.1: A private road bends left. Continue straight, through the gate.
0.35: Multiple junction. Continue straight uphill. 0.45: Fire road splits -- either way is fine as they reconnect shortly. 0.65: End of the trail at hilltop. Retrace your steps back to the trailhead.
1.3: Back at the trailhead.
Getting there:
From CA 29 in Napa County, exit 1st Street/Downtown Napa. Drive west on 1st Street (which becomes Browns Valley Road) about 0.8 mile, then turn left into the park.
