0.0: Begin at the gated fire road.
2.6: Junction near an information signboard. Continue straight.
2.6: Junction. Continue straight on Bay Trail.
3.0: A closed levee trail breaks off to the left. Continue to the right on Bay
Trail.
4.6: A small path crosses a culvert straight ahead. This junction is unsigned,
and easy to miss. Continue to the left on Wingspan Way.
5.3: Back at the signed junction. Turn left and retrace your steps to the trailhead.
8.0: Back at the trailhead.
Getting there:
From Highway 101 in Marin County, exit Highway 37. Drive about 7.5 miles east
on Highway 37, to the junction with 121. Continue east on Highway 37 about .7
mile more, then turn right into the preserve (there is no refuge sign, but the
entrance is in the midst of a flurry of "no parking" signs along the
side of the road).
