Hiddenbrooke Trail

Featured hike
Mile:
0.0: Begin from the roadside pullout on Hiddenbrooke Trail, signed with a Bay Area Ridge Trail symbol (if you start at the park and ride lot add 0.4 mile to starting mileage).
0.8: An unmarked path feeds in from the left.
1.0: Trail turns left at a signed corner.
1.3: Junction with minor trails from the Hiddenbrooke development. Turn right and head uphill.
1.6: T junction. Turn left.
1.9: End of the Ridge Trail segment. You can extend the hike a bit on a dead-end spur trail to the left. Retrace your steps back to the previous junction.
2.1: Junction, again. This time, continue straight.
2.3: Hilltop and turnaround point. Retrace your steps back downhill to the previous junction.
2.5: Junction, for the third time. Turn left and retrace your steps back to the trailhead.

Getting there:
From Highway 80 in Napa County, just northeast of the Vallejo city limits, exit American Canyon/Hiddenbrooke (exit 36). Head southwest toward Hiddenbrooke, then park in the park and ride lot to the right of the entrance gate (or continue 0.4 mile on Hiddenbrooke Parkway, to a small pullout near a Bay Area Ridge Trail trail sign).
