I received an email from a local hiker with the following info:

"I was out hiking in China Camp today and noted that the Miwok Fire Trail is currently closed until further notice due to some sort of tree disease. The whole trail is completed blocked off and covered with felled trees to prevent anyone from using it."

No info on the state park website. Anybody know what's up with this?

According to park staff, this trail is permanently closed.
