JhnGrn Member     Hi, Since I did not find any convenient Web site for posting California hikes, I posted one to http://wiki.runnersworld.com/index.php/Half_Moon_Bay_CA_to_San_Mateo_28_miles In short, take bus 294 from San Mateo to Half Moon Bay and then hike or run back through Purisima Creek Redwood open space, Huddart county park, along Crystal Springs lake, Water dog lake park, Sugarloaf and Laurelwood parks.
